ORGANIC MODERN: DOUBLE WATERFRONT ON-THE-POINT Milford

This double waterfront on Smith’s Point was a grandfathered footprint embracing a primarily new build through lifting the home and lovingly restoring it with a modern vision. The location near Milford’s Coastal Connecticut Audubon Society and long views of beach, marshes and undisturbed sand dunes were truly inspiration in home design and space planning. Even the Roche Bobois 20’ long sectional offered sumptuous indulgence in viewing nature surround, flying osprey from sunrise to sunset, in-between there’s a telescope, too. Design features include seamless Marvin accordion glass doors, custom glass counters for primary bath and guest baths, and exterior design detail of shou sugi ban garage doors. An organic modern beach house evolves to a home of the senses - a true love story.
